The “Divyang News Channel” is an enterprising Digital Media initiated by the Disable Welfare Trust of India, an NGO based in Surat, offering a basket of services like education, training & rehabilitation, free of cost, to the differently abled community. The word “Divyang” coined & gifted by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the differently abled community has changed the thinking perspective of the society. In our perspective any human who cares, who is sensitive, who creates social impact by his deeds & who is a divine soul in himself are all “Divyangs”.
The “Divyang News Channel” intends to show case all the positive actions of an individual, children & a group of them on how they contribute to the society. The endeavour is to create an avenue for the “Divyangs” to gather knowledge, information and to understand & know about their rights & privileges that they can avail from the Government & the society. This is also a platform to showcase the philanthropy & humanitarian efforts done by various NGOs working for the “Divyang” beneficiaries across India.
